PPI Chrobok S.A. has been specializing in driving tight walls since the company was set, years of experience and knowledge gained over the time allow us to adapt techniques to certain conditions. Our company has the equipment and the experience to install sheet piles of 22 m and more length by dynamic and static driving the components.
Sheet pile wall drived into the ground before the excavation is designed, serves as its wall protective cover. This type of protection allows carring out engineering work in proximity to existing infrastructure such as buildings, roads, etc. and reduces the area required to perform the excavation.
Installed steel sheet pile is used in projects requiring temporary protection of the excavation as well as a permanent construction component or shoring.
Examples of the greatest possible fields of application of piling wall are objects of transport infrastructure and municipal buildings. Piling wall thanks to a rapid mobilization of devices, installation in ground and the material availability in our company may be used in many branches of industry.

To secure the walls of the trench, U profile steel sheet piles including the most popular ones GU 16-400 and GU.. N, AU, PU, AZ, VL, LARSSEN and HOESCH are used.
Length, series of type and method of support is selected on the grounds of soil and water conditions, the depth of the excavation, embankment’s height, soil load and neighbouring objects.
While conducting development works in highly urbanized areas, if necessary, we provide vibration monitoring to minimize or to exclude the impact of works on the adjacent structures.
If the ground-medium precludes installation of sheet piles in the native soil, we provide the necessary equipment to modify the ground before the start of driving works, which greatly improves the speed of driving or at lest allows placing piles on the planned depth.
If it is impossible to drive the piles into the native soil, for example there are cohesive soils, hard plastic, PPI Chrobok S.A. disposes of an equipment to modify the ground-medium before installing the sheet piles. The most commonly used method of modification is pre- boring without borings elevation. It is designed to loosen the soil, making it easier and faster to install the sheet piles.
